* file browser can decode first QT frames -- good sign
* Kaffeine 0.8.6 is the main media player
* Amarok 1.4.8 is the pure audio player
* Totem show up for a few files
* on pass 2, I allowed Mandriva to install gstreamer-ugly plugins and gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
