General Notes
- installed with KDE desktop
- file browser can decode first QT frames -- good sign
- Kaffeine 0.8.6 is the main media player
- Amarok 1.4.8 is the pure audio player
- Totem show up for a few files
- on pass 2, I allowed Mandriva to install gstreamer-ugly plugins and gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
