I discovered what appears to be a NXL v2 file? https://discmaster.textfiles.com/view/1001/CD-ROM_Today_-_The_Disc_7_January_1995.iso/pc/cyberdem/trailer.nxl

From a quick look it seems almost the same but uses 8-bit video (no bitplanes) and different interleaving rules. I'll try to figure out the differences from version 1 in the following several days Kostya (talk) 08:20, 13 October 2024 (PDT)
