FMV

FMV stands for Full Motion Video. It is a generic term to refer to video comprised of sequences of frames stored on disk, as opposed to video frames that are rendered in real time. FMV is prevalent in multimedia-heavy video games. See Category:Game Formats for many formats designed for FMV delivery.
