TCP-Mustang is a revised congestion control system for TCP developed by nuMetra, Inc. It allows ISPs to secure their network's best-effort capacity from other competing TCP control systems that may attempt to exploit TCP-Reno and Passive Queue ("Tail-Drop") Management.
