Sierra Entertainment (formerly known as Sierra On-Line) is a gaming company founded in 1980. They put out the King's Quest, Space Quest and Leisure Suit Larry series.


Sierra is not the creator of the [[VMD]] format. [[VMD]] was developed and used by French company Coktel Vision (Gobli*ns fame) and when Sierra bought this company, it also adopted [[VMD]] as FMV format.
