ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29

The ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29 is the subcommittee of the ISO and IEC (which together comprise the JTC) that researches Multimedia Coding. They have 2 (active) Working Groups.
- Working Group 1 (WG1) is the "Joint Photographic Experts Group"(JPEG) is active
- Working Group 11 (WG11) is the "Motion picture Expert Group" (MPEG) is ative
- Working Group 12 now MTF
