List of all codecs that were designed or engineered for a specific hardware platform.

This sub-category describes "one-off" implementations that demonstrate FMV on a specific vintage, homebrew, or console platform. The category is meant to denote any platform not typically designed to be capable of decoding or displaying FMV (ie. limited color palette, limited memory, very slow CPU, no mass-storage device, etc.)

Said codecs have highly platform-dependent implementations and limitations that make them mostly unsuitable for more general-purpose use.
