The Atari Jaguar is a video game console created by Atari. It was released early in the CD-ROM days of multimedia technology and had an optional CD extension. Some CD games available for the system boasted Cinepak video on the box copy. Apparently, Atari Jaguar CDs use all 2352 sector bytes for data rather than just 2048 with the rest for error correction and detection codes. This reportedly led to poor reliability for the discs.
