VideoNow is a custom-sized optical format used in a custom, standalone multimedia playback device. The disc uses the same optical hardware as compact discs but uses a custom size (108 mm vs. 120 mm for a CD).
The discs apparently store video data in one audio channel and monophonic audio data interleaved in the other channel. See the description at http://pvdtools.sourceforge.net/format.txt for more explanation.
