The gaming company behind the Wing Commander and Ultima series, they were acquired in 1992 by Electronic Arts. They created the Origin Flic Codec, Origin Xan Codec, Xan DPCM, and the Wing Commander III MVE and the Wing Commander III MVE Video Codec.
